Accused was found in Islamabad

Charsadda Police have arrested the prime accused and three others in the murder of Charsadda press club general secretary Ehsan Sherpao.

Syed Arshad Jamal was arrested in Islamabad.
Sherpao, a senior journalist and three others were shot dead on October 30 after a scuffle at a jirga meeting presided over by Sherpao.
The suspect Jamal, was also attending the jirga meeting to settle a family dispute. Jamal fled after opening fire at the attendees of the meeting.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Charsadda Irfanullah, Jamal was a drug addict and had previously killed his wife, mother, sister-in-law, his nephew and Ehsan, who was his cousin.
