A model has accused a studio owner of sexually assaulting her after she was tricked into coming to a sham photo shoot in Sialkot, Express News reported on Sunday.

Roshaan, who hails from Lahore's Nankana area, registered a case with local police claiming that Bilal Rauf, the owner of a local studio in Sialkot, had called her over from Lahore for a photo shoot of a clothing brand.

Upon reaching the studio, the model claims that Rauf proceeded to sexually assault her.

Roshaan said Rauf also video taped as well as took photos of the whole episode to blackmail her into staying mum.

She said the studio owner also warned her against telling anyone of her ordeal, or else he would release the photos and videos.

The verdict was based on section 364-A, 376-C and section 302 of Pakistan penal code, which included the sections of abduction, rape and murder.

The father of the victim had expressed his satisfaction on the court verdict, saying the severe punishment will set an example for others to refrain from committing such heinous crimes against minors.
