Terrorist had taken six civilians hostage, says army's media wing

RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Saturday killed a wanted terrorist in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, said a statement by the Inter-Services Press Relations (ISPR).

Terrorists arrested in Kurram Agency raid

The terrorist, Hakim, had taken six civilians hostage for ulterior motives. He was armed with automatic weapons and grenades.

All hostages have been rescued by security forces, added the military's media wing.

Four security personnel were injured during the operation.

Security forces conduct raids, recover weapons in Balochistan

In September, security forces killed four terrorists during the security operation and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition. Two soldiers were also injured in the exchange of fire.

In June, security forces killed at least six terrorists who launched raids and physical attacks from the Afghan side of the border to disrupt border-fencing work in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Striver | 2 years ago | Reply We do not have the words to thank you enough; in the circumstances suffice to say thank GOD we have PKArmy; The region will realise how PKs and PAKArmy was not just fighting for PK but for the whole region. The small minds and short-sigted in India cannot see this.
