A Station House officer (SHO) at Kalyana Police Station in Pakpattan, was suspended after a video of him dancing with an unidentified woman went viral on social media, Express News reported on Tuesday.
SHO Inspector Arshad can be seen dancing with a woman on a Bollywood song in a video that went viral on social media.
District Police Officer (DPO) Pakpattan Maria Mehmood took notice of the video that went viral on social media and suspended Inspector Arshad, and also ordered an investigation in the matter.
Two Adiala Jail officials suspended over sexual harassment charges
According to a local website, the video was saved in Inspector Arshad's cellphone, however his nephew uploaded the video on the internet from where it became viral.
Earlier in August, Adiala Jail’s Assistant Superintendent (AS) along with a warder was suspended over sexually harassing a fellow officer.
AS Moazzam Ali and Warder Bilal allegedly attempted to rape another warder, identified as Safdar.
In view of this IG Adiala prison ordered the suspension of the two officers for a three-month period.
According to jail authorities the culprits attempted to sexually harass Safdar.
