What is your idea of perfect happiness?

My idea of perfect happiness is any moment in which I am totally content and at peace with myself.

What is your greatest fear?

To have to go through life living without the people you love.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I think it would have to be over-thinking things…

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Insensitivity and a general lack of common decency.

What is your greatest extravagance?

My greatest extravagance, one that I love the most, is holidays! I need to take more holidays.

What is your current state of mind?

My current state of mind is exhaustion … I don’t really know where my mind is at the moment!

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Prudence. Sometimes we just need to take a chance.

On what occasion do you lie?

When it will save someone unnecessary pain …

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

Nothing I can’t handle. I do the best I can with what I have.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Respect for women and chivalry.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

The ability to give as a friend, a mother, a wife and a daughter …. Women are incredible souls!

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

‘I think …..’

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to switch off from everything.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I’d try and be a stronger person emotionally.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I have yet to achieve a lot more ... Small achievements happen very often and I am grateful for that.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

I don’t think I want to come back. If you can manage to live one life and live it well, that is quite an achievement.

Where would you most like to live?

On different days, different places. Sometimes in Geneva, where I grew up, sometimes by the beach with crystal blue waters, other times in a chalet high in some beautiful mountains … Keeps changing according to my moods. The reality is that I am living in Lahore and that is the place I will be so the rest is just my thoughts and my little attempts at escapism.

What is your most treasured possession?

I treasure moments and memories the most.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Simply being miserable with no real reason to be …

If you didn’t do your current job, what would you choose to do?

I cannot even imagine doing or being something else.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Minimalist design!

Who is your hero of fiction?

Alice, in Alice in Wonderland. She survives rather strange moments, obstacles and people!

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Rumi. I love his philosophy and this quote: “Last night I learnt to be a lover of God, to live in this world and call nothing my own”.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My parents …. They have taught me the most in my life and have been extraordinary human beings.
