Former MPA Shiraz Waheed, accused of distributing CDs containing provocative speeches of Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder Altaf Hussain, and other suspects appeared before the court. The court recorded the statement of the prosecution witness and summoned further witnesses. Seven suspects, including Waheed, Ali Hassan, Naeem Shamshad, Danish Saeed and others were granted interim bail.
One of the suspects, Syed Ali Azhar, is on the run.
