DERA GHAZI KHAN: The doctors at Teaching Hospital said the woman and the newborns are safe and healthy.

Hajra Bibi, a resident of Basti Sat Gath of Dera Ghazi Khan, already had three children. While talking to the Express Tribune, Hajra’s relative Ghulam Muhammad said the triplets were a blessing.

He added that the father of the newborns, Muhammad Bilal, is a labourer and works in Saudi Arabia. He mentioned that the condition of the mother and newborn babies was stable and all the family members were delighted over the new additions to the family. On November 21, a woman in Lahore gave birth to six children with one baby girl died during delivery. Mrs Qasim, a Ravi Road resident, had five baby girls and one baby boy. The five infants were shifted to the Children’s Hospital Nurse Ward because they were underweight.
