Ex-ISI Chief: ‘Unlikely OBL lived for years in Pak’

The chief also rejected frequently made suggestions that individual ISI agents might have helped the al Qaeda leader.

LONDON: It is unlikely Osama bin Laden lived for years in Abbottabad where he was found and killed by US forces, a former chief of the ISI said on Wednesday. Lt Gen Ehsanul Haq, who ran the ISI from 2001-2004, also rejected frequently made suggestions that individual ISI agents might have helped the al Qaeda leader.
