#DeepVeerKiShaadi: Couple host first wedding reception in Bengaluru

Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy on November 14 and November 15, hosted a reception in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The function was held at Hotel Leela Palace.

Deepika wore a gold Kanjivaram zari sari with Sabyasachi emerald jewellery. She opted for a sleek bun and minimal makeup. Ranveer, on the other hand, donned a black and gold Rohit Bal sherwani. The star duo was styled by celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The event was hosted by Deepika's parents in her hometown. The couple came out to interact with the media present at the hotel. If rumours are to be trusted, there are at least two more wedding receptions in place for the newly-wedded couple.

According to The Indian Express, #DeepVeer will host a reception on November 28 and a wedding party on December 1.

The pair got married last week according to Konkani customs on November 14 and as per Sindhi traditions on November 15.

Padukone, 32, and Singh 33, announced in a joint statement last month that their wedding would take place in Lake Como, Italy.

The couple reportedly started dating in 2013 but have kept details of their relationship largely out of the public eye.
