PESHAWAR: Two people were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast on the roadside in Bajaur agency, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Nawagayee Town's Charmung area, with a remote control bomb detonating on a vehicle.

The victims have been identified as Amanullah and Gul Badin.

Authorities have cordoned off the area while a search operation is underway.

The vehicle was completely destroyed after the bomb went off.

In Balochistan's Chaman area, four people sustained minor injures in a blast went off inside a mosque earlier in the day.

The blast took place when a battery attached with the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system exploded at the mosque.

Prayer leader Matiullah was among four people who sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The injured were shifted to district headquarters (DHQ) hospital Chaman for medical treatment.

Similarly, on November 20, at least 55 people were killed with over 80 others injured at an Eid Miladun event in Kabul. The victims included religious delegates from various parts of the country.
