Preventive measures: ‘Dengue is not limited to the monsoon’

Civil hospital’s professor suggested that people boil water before consuming it

KARACHI: Dengue fever is common before and after the monsoons and if measures are taken, they can prevent other diseases such as gastroenteritis and malaria, said Civil hospital’s Prof. Ayesha Mehnaz. The professor suggested that people boil water before consuming it and keep water containers covered. She advised against eating from roadside stalls.
