Water shortage: Farmers protest unequal distribution

The protestors demanded that officials take immediate notice.

KUNRI: Farmers walked 20 kilometres from Drelo Canal to the press club to protest against a water shortage on Wednesday. The protestors demanded that officials take immediate notice and release adequate water in the canal. Two protesters, Faqeer Kamal Khan and Raees Khan, fainted in the heat and were taken to hospital.
