The two sides discussed private investment opportunities in Balochistan, particularly in the coastal belt, during the meeting, according to an official handout.
“Balochistan has a long coastal strip having a suitable environment for fish farming which could be a lucrative spot for foreign investors,” CM Kamal told the Korean envoy.

The CM said that Balochistan is blessed with natural resources, and the provincial government would provide full assistance and security to international investors seeking to invest in the province’s mining and fishing sectors.
He also informed the visiting envoy that fish processing units were being established in Pasni and other areas of Makran division.
The Korean ambassador assured the CM that he would make all efforts to persuade Korean companies to invest in the province’s fisheries sector.
“By investing in the fisheries sector, the Korean government is willing to foster traditional and cultural cooperation with the Government of Balochistan,” Kyu said.
