KARACHI: Low pressure in western Bombay and Eastern Arabian Sea is proceeding towards Oman Coast and is likely to reach the coastal areas of Sindh and Makran around Friday, possibly turning into a cyclone, says the Pakistan Meteorological Department. Chief Meteorologist Naeem Shah told The Express Tribune that on Thursday, low pressure will change into a depression and they will then be able to gauge its likelihood of turning into a cyclone. He said that they have informed the DCO office about 30 knots wind speed on Friday that can damage billboards.
