Joint Venture: PU signs MoU on regional peace

Under the agreement, CSAS would facilities LCPR for conducting research

LAHORE: Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lahore Centre for Peace Research (LCPR) to promote regional peace and stability. In this regard, an MoU signing ceremony was held at CSAS in which PU Vice Chancellor Dr Niaz Ahmad, CSAS Director Dr Umbreen Javaid, LCPR Executive Director Dr Mujahid Ali Mansoori and others were present on the occasion. Under the agreement, CSAS would facilities LCPR for conducting research in the shape of access to library, online research journals and other sources of guidance form its own faculty members and research scholars. The LCPR would collaborate with CSAS for organising seminars, symposiums, conferences and workshops to promote research culture with reference to peace and harmony. Under the agreement, both the parties would provide opportunities for their researchers, visiting scholars and experts.
