Accompanied by Multan Commissioner Imran Sikandar Baloch, the minister visited different sections of MIKD and observed the facilities being provided to the masses at the institute. Dr Akhtar Malik asked officials to prepare a report for the establishment of a paediatrics section at MIKD for the treatment of children's kidney diseases.
