ISLAMABAD: Deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday appeared for the 107th time before the accountability court in connection with corruption references against him and his family.
Nawaz was accompanied by former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Nawaz’s counsel Khawaja Harris was absent from the court of Judge Arshad Malik hearing the Flagship reference case. He was allowed to leave the hearing after the first break.
However, his junior counsel remained in the court throughout the time National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor Kamran recording his statement.

The NAB prosecutor informed the court that the records obtained from the Companies House London (CHL) revealed that 17 flats and properties are owned by Hassan Nawaz's 18 companies.
"I went to Britain to follow up on the mutual legal assistance request and asked the CHL to provide me with records of Hassan's 10 companies," he told the court.
The investigation officer presented the report pertaining to the properties owned by Hassan's companies to the court. To this, Nawaz's counsel raised an objection saying that the details provided by the NAB officer are not in line with the Qanoon-e-Shahadat or the law of evidence.
Kamran told the court that he requested the CHL and the HM Land Registry for records. "I visited the Pakistan High Commission in London on August 24 along with NAB Director Rawalpindi Mohammad Ramazan," he added.
He also presented the yearly financial report of Hassan's offshore companies to the court.
The hearing resumes today.
