PML-N walks out of Senate over Haideri's selection

PML-N staged a walkout from the Senate session to protest against FATA senators being sent to the Opposition benches.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) staged a walkout from the Senate session on Tuesday to protest against FATA senators being sent to the Opposition benches.

PML-N Senator, Ishaq Dar objected to the Chairman Senate has declared FATA senators of the government as a part of the opposition.

Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Ghafoor Haideri was elected Opposition leader in the Senate on Monday.

Meanwhile, Senator Haroon Akhtar said, no law bars them from sitting on the opposition benches.
