Hall of fame : Barbra Streisand makes music history
During her publicity tour for her 36th studio album titled Walls, the No More Tears singer stopped by HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. In the recent past, Streisand has openly discussed how the current political climate and Trump administration has influenced her album. She didn’t hold back from discussing some more politics with Maher either, revealing her coping strategies for dealing with the news, provided The Hollywood Reporter.
Speaking on the show, Streisand shared, "First of all, I eat a lot. I eat sweets, have coffee and ice cream, that counterbalances the bitterness that Trump's throwing at us.” She continued, “Also, I have to play games, literally, before I go to sleep, to get him out of my head… to get the news that I watch all day out of my head. To be in the present you have to play, you know?" she joked.
The Send In The Clowns crooner further revealed some of the specific questions she has about the president that keep her up at night. "What is he hiding? Why is he above the law?" Streisand pondered. She went on, "Why is he living with those conflicts of interest? Why do other Republicans let him get away with it?"
Before concluding the interview, she had a plea for the media. "Why do we allow the media to keep showing him on TV? Why are we covering his rallies? He's got 71 rallies! Don’t cover them!" she quipped.

In other news, the iconic singer last made headlines when she changed the Carpool Karaoke game. Instead of the show’s actor-host James Corden picking her up, she picked him up! The two then belted their way through No More Tears, The Way We Were, What a Wonderful World, and her new Donald Trump-inspired tune, Don’t Lie to Me.
