Police vehicle rams into Fakhar-e-Alam's car
The singer took to Twitter to share the news. He wrote, "Pakistan, Mission Parwaaz accomplished. We are now in the history books of aviation." His journey came to an end in Florida, US.

Many congratulated Alam for making the country proud. Designer Asim Jofa tweeted, "I congratulate my dear friend Fakhr-e-Alam on completing Mission Parwaaz and becoming the first Pakistani to circumnavigate the world. Hats off to you. You've made all of us and Pakistan, very proud."

Special assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistani and Human Resoure Development, Zulfiqar Bukhari also lauded Alam's efforts. He wrote, "Congrats Fakhr-e-Alam for being Pakistan’s first to circumnavigate the globe. Just another time you've made us all very proud. Always daring new things. #MissionParwaaz."

Alam first announced his love for flying and aircrafts three years ago. However, after a lot of hard work and determination, the 42-year-old revealed in late September this year that he was now one step closer to achieving his dreams. He stated that he will be journeying across the globe as part of his project called Mission Parwaaz.

Last week, he was detained at the Russian airport as his visa had expired. However, the government officials from Pakistan got in touch with the Russian authorities to clear matters and get him another valid visa.
