LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will cooperate with the government in raising the ease of doing business ranking, said LCCI President Almas Hyder.

He said that another phase of cooperation through consultation will be initiated shortly to elevate Pakistan up to 99th position in Ease of Doing Business index by next year and to 50th position in the third year.

In the wake of tremendous efforts by the government in collaboration with the business community to improve the business climate, the escalation of Pakistan's ranking by 11 notches has sent positive vibes to the local and foreign investors. It has helped improve the country's image as an investment-friendly destination.
