‘Robber’ killed in Dadu encounter

DADU: A suspected robber was killed during an encounter in Dadu on Tuesday evening.

According to the police, three suspected robbers were waiting for a chance to mug a citizen when a police party reached the scene. The robbers allegedly opened fire on the police, which was retaliated by the law enforcers. During the exchange of fire, one of the robbers was killed while two others managed to flee the scene.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Sattar Gaincho. The police claimed to have seized a Kalashnikov from his possession. The deceased was involved in 16 high-profile criminal cases.
