Currency: Rupee eases against dollar

Rupee on Monday eased to 86/86.05 against the dollar compared to 85.95 on Friday.

KARACHI: The rupee on Monday eased to 86/86.05 against the dollar compared to 85.95 on Friday, on the back of higher demand for the greenback for import payments. The rupee had hit a record low of 86.50 recently. Dealers said the local unit may see some movement this week.
