According to official sources, almost 700 metric tons of high quality seeds have been supplied to farmers in all districts to increase production during the next season. They explained that the growing process in several areas was delayed every year as farmers faced problems in receiving seeds on time.
However, the problem had been solved permanently this year after the State Agriculture Department managed to distribute seeds on time. They further said that the department has managed the publication of an annual agricultural calendar for department’s field staff and other cultivators to keep them updated on various developments regarding wheat cultivation.
