According to Rukanpur police, the victim Kamal Mai, had gone to the fields to fetch fodder but did not return in the evening. Kamal Mai’s family began searching for her and later found the body of the 65-year-old woman in a neighbouring field.
The deceased was a resident of village Galore Masood Khan and had wounds on her neck. Police officials have sent the body to the rural health centre in Mianwali Qureshian for a postmortem. Police officials registered a case against the unidentified murderer on the report of victim’s son, Mukhtar Ahmed.
