They might not be ready to share pleasantries when it comes to politics, but Pakistan and India shared the recently concluded Asian Champions Trophy crown after nature's intervention.

Both teams made it to the final of the event which was washed out due to heavy rain in Muscat.

As a result, both captains lifted the trophy, together.

Pakistan made it to the final clash against arch-rivals after a dominant performance in the Asian Champions Trophy.

They beat Oman, Malaysia and South Korea, while Japan held them to a 1-1 draw.

Men in Green's only defeat came against India where they lost 3-1 to their neighbours.

In their semi-final clash against Malaysia, the match went down to a shootout, which Pakistan won to enter the final.

Meanwhile, India won four and drew one match before beating Japan 3-2 in their semi-final.

India would've wanted to play the final since Pakistan are currently on 10-match losing streak against them.

However, nature had other plans and both teams walked away as winners of the 2018 Asian Champions Trophy.
