Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan reveals she knew about Alok Nath

61-year-old actor also shared how she narrowly escaped from getting raped

Ever since Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of 2009 film Horn 'Ok' Pleassss, many leading ladies of Bollywood have come forward to share their horrific incidents. Likewise, famed writer Vinta Nanda shared that Alok Nath had once raped her while he was under the influences. Now, Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan shared that she always knew about Nath's antics, reported The Quint.

She said, "I have seen him behave very lecherously after he had gotten drunk. He never threatened me but there was once a time when I didn't like the way he looked at me."

Razdan added that Nath never misbehaved with anyone when he was sober, but a different personality of him would come out whenever he was drunk. She then told how she once escaped getting raped.

Choosing not to name the person, the 61-year-old actor stated that during her younger days, someone tried to rape on her a film set but was unable to succeed. She never spoke about it because the person was married and had children, and talking about it would only affect them adversely.

"At the time, I managed to control it but obviously never spoke to the person again. I didn't talk about it because of any shame, but only because I would be hurting his family, which I knew. But if it would have happened at a time like right now, I don’t think I would have done the same thing. I wouldn’t have been that magnanimous. I would have complained about it." explained Razdan.
