ISLAMABAD: Days after the successful commissioning of Mardankhel-2 well, MOL Pakistan has started work on Mardankhel-3, a mega gas pipeline project in Hangu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), which is expected to significantly address energy crisis in the country.

The pipeline, which will stretch to seven kilometres, will pass through 17 villages of Hangu, creating significant employment opportunities in the deprived district of K-P.

In this connection, a meeting was held between senior officials of the MOL Group and government officers at the MOL head office in Islamabad to chalk out relevant modalities concerning the project.

“We have successfully commissioned our wells, which, in return, mitigates the energy crisis in the country,” said MOL Group Regional Vice President Middle East, Africa and Pakistan Ali Murtaza Abbas. He reiterated that MOL Pakistan would keep contributing generously to welfare projects in line with its CSR commitments.
