1. Kangana Ranaut
MISS: Ranaut was spotted wearing a Gauri and Nainika nude shimmer dress this week. The sheer negligee-style piece entailed a sequinned base with floral embellishments and a peplum bottom. Nothing about this attire worked, in our opinion - from the matronly colour to the ill-fitted silhouette, the dress just wasn't the one for her.
Bollywood fashion: Unforgettable looks of the week
Her hair and makeup, on the other hand, wasn't too bad. The Queen actor rocked a bold plum lip with metallic rose gold eyelids and loose curls. However, it was unable to serve as her saving grace.
2. Jacqueline Fernandez
HIT: Alongside Hollywood star Amber Heard, Fernandez was captured in a feathered sea green Anamika Khanna sari at the One Young World Summit. The Kick star pulled off this look with utter elegance as she teamed the ensemble with wavy hair and rosy makeup.
3. Shilpa Shetty
MISS: Sporting a blue Coach sweatshirt over a pleated monochrome midi skirt was probably a bad move on Shetty's part. Although we understand that she was probably going for a preppy look, it simply did not suit her. The embellishment on the top, the scalloped collar, the decorative Jimmy Choos... none of it does. Her hair was pulled back in a pony tail with strands of hair framing her face and the makeup was kept minimal.
4. Kareen Kapoor Khan
HIT: Bebo exuded true Boss Lady vibes clad in this Balmain tuxedo dress at the 20th anniversary of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The plunging neckline complimented the diva's toned frame while gold buttons added just the right amount of ornamentation. Khan accessorised with diamond earrings, bold rings complete with metallic pumps. Classic smokey eyes, bronzed skin and a nude pout completed her look.
5. Janhvi Kapoor
HIT: At the same event, Kapoor donned a lime green gown by Shehlaa Khan. While this colour may be too much for some to handle, the Dhadak star looked like a dream in it. Minimal makeup and accessories complemented the dress and sleek middle-parted hair rounded it off.
