Meghan Markle inspires Priyanka Chopra to have kids

Former Miss World recently opened up about her plans to start a family

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, recently announced she's expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry. And, it seems as though she is rubbing off on her friend and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra.

According to E!, the Bajirao Mastani actor recently opened up about her plans to start a family with fiancé Nick Jonas.

The former Miss World was asked what she thinks of Meghan's pregnancy announcement. "I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I'm like 'God I need to catch up!'" she said.

Although this probably doesn't translate to Priyanka having a baby immediately, we won't be surprised if the couple makes the announcement soon after their wedding.

As far as tying the knot is concerned, Indian publications have reported that the couple will get married in Jodhpur next month.

Gushing over his lady love, the Jealous singer earlier commented, "I can go into all of it and get all mushy, but I think the thing that really connected both of us was our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those."

PeeCee, on the other hand, told E! News, "We've known each other for a couple of years but we dated for just a little while, but I think that's the one thing we really connect on is our love for family and knowing faith is so important to us."
