The project, launched in 2011, is yet to be completed despite passage of eight years, said a statement issued by the corruption watchdog on Thursday.
The NAB chief has taken notice of complaints over non-allotment of plots despite collection of billions of rupees from public specially those living abroad, it added.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA), despite not only allegedly spending millions on advertisement and receiving approximately Rs15 billion from the masses, has failed to complete the project on time. “This is not only a serious joke with the public but also a case of severe misuse of authority by the officials concerned.”
