ISLAMABAD: Austrian artistes enthralled audience at a concert organised by the Austrian Embassy in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) to celebrate the Austria National Day.

The event was attended by Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan Dr Brigitta Blaha, diplomats and a large number of people from different walks life at PNCA Auditorium.

The event started with the welcome remarks of Austria Ambassador Dr Brigitta Blaha.

She said that music has no boundaries. Austrian artistes have performed in Pakistan, similarly, Pakistani singers and musicians will get a chance to perform in Austria.

The Austrian musician included vocalist Tamara Lukasheva, viola player Marie Therese Hartel and cello player deeLinde.

Later expressing their views, the artists surprised the guests with few lines of Urdu. They went on to say that Pakistan was a beautiful country and Islamabad was outstanding. They said it was their first opportunity to witness it up close.
