Stuck In Quetta: Zaireen need govt support

The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the government should assist the pilgrims to Iraq, who have been stranded in Quetta. Moosavi said that zaireen of the Arbaeen were in serious problems. He blamed the government, which after delegating their transportation and other related matters to incompetent hands, has become unconcerned. He said that in Quetta, the number of Zaireen was rising fast and even those who voted for the government were now protesting but all in vain. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah said that the government of Pakistan must give the impression to the Zaireen that it was available to support its nationals. Government ministers and bureaucrats make attractive promises and then just disappear from the scene. Focal persons were nominated in the interior ministry to address problems faced by Zaireen however till date, none of the promises were kept.
