Bollywood starlet Kangana Ranaut recently accused Queen director Vikas Bahl of sexual harassment. However, her ex-beau, Adhyayan Suman has now opened up about how he was humiliated and shamed two years ago when he publicly narrated his story of being physically violated by the starlet.

The duo worked together in the film Raaz 2 in 2009. Adhyayan  shared details of the trauma he had faced in a series of tweets. He also expressed how he had previously shared his story but had not received any support from anyone. He further said that he was ridiculed on television and was subjected to constant trolling for quite a while.

Sharing his story two years ago, Adhyayan said that when he came clean and put the truth out, he was shamed by the media then. But now that the movement is gaining momentum, the actor revealed that when he was in a relationship with the Simran star back in 2016, he was physically violated. The actor, then, had accused Kangana of using black magic on him.

A year since #MeToo: 12 prominent celebrities accused

"A lot of people were asking me to share my #MeToo story.  I am sorry but when I did that two years ago, I was shamed and humiliated. My parents,  whom I love the most, had to listen to some obscene things on national television," he tweeted.

"I was clearly told that a guy with a failed career doesn’t have the right to share his painful and dark experience. The handful of people who supported me, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart," added Adhyayan.

"And I am happy that at least this moment is giving a chance to all the people who have had to suppress their dark and depressing experiences for so long. I hope all these people at least get their closure without being judged the way I was!"

Adhyayan hopes that those who have been subject to harassment can get the closure they need with the help of #MeToo.
