Hawkers’ moot: Imran doing dishonesty with Pakistan, says Rashid

“The hawkers’ community is a low-income group and is affected the most by the price hike,” said Nazir Ahmed.

He said the union does not owe a single penny to anyone. He said a local English newspaper was paying two per cent less commission while the hawkers demanded 40 per cent. Hawkers are being financially exploited. He said media owners had authorised the union to decide about an increase in the prices of the newspapers.

A resolution regarding the increase in the prices of the newspapers was tabled which was adopted unanimously.
