Careem expands ride-hailing service to Bahawalpur

With this, the company remains successful in becoming operational in 15 cities all over Pakistan

Ride-hailing giant Careem on Friday announced expansion of its network to Bahawalpur, a major city in south Punjab.

The company hopes to tap into the transportation needs of Bahawalpur by introducing its Go and bike services.

Speaking at the launch event, Zeeshan Baig, General Manager, ESM Punjab Careem Pakistan said: “Careem’s goal is to benefit the maximum number of people in the country through its affordable and reliable services.”

Careem now offers services in 15 cities across the country. The ride-hailing service has also had a positive effect on auto.

Recently, Careem also piloted its parcel delivery service which lets customers send, track and receive small packages. This was soon after it announced its partnership with Edhi Foundation to provide ambulance services in the country. The customers of the ride-hailing app can now make a ‘later’ booking for the service by clicking on the ambulance category.
