Commencing her trip from the city of Attock, Guliafshan was quite fascinated to witness the two distinct colours of the rivers Kabul and Indus. Gallivanting through Chinniot, a city famous for Chinnioti furniture, she made her way towards Multan where she explored intricate blue-pottery handicrafts. Post Multan, Guliafshan traversed through the touristy places of Lahore which included the iconic Badshahi Mosque and Minar-e-Pakistan.



At reaching Sheikhupura, the biker was completely enraptured by Hiran Minar as it  transported her back to the Mughal era. The foremost highlight of the trip was the warm hospitality of the people she experienced through her excursion from Dera Ghazi Khan to Fort Munro. She not only witnessed the truck making art in Dera Ghazi, but also fulfilled her dream of driving the hefty vehicle.

The Guliafshan’s example has heightened the interest in people to explore Pakistan vis-à-vis road trips and specifically on motorbikes. In order to see Pakistan in all its glory it makes sense that one should travel along roads which allow one to truly immerse one’s self in the beautiful and raw surroundings of our country.
