Another case emerges : Woman allegedly gang raped in Khanpur
Suspect took away valuables from house before escaping
RAHIM YAR KHAN:
A woman was allegedly gang raped in Rahim Yar Khan’s Khanpur tehsil on Thursday, Express News reported.
Police said that victim S* lodged a complaint at the police station in which she stated that her relative Shahid Ali, along with accomplices Muhammad Shahid and Imran, barged into her house while she was alone and took her into a room.
She added Shahid Ali and others allegedly gang raped her. The victim maintained that the culprits also recorded a video of the incident and threatened to upload it on social media. She stated that the accused also took away cash and gold ornaments from her house and fled.
S* said the suspects were threatening the lives of her family. She requested that police and authorities take action against the criminals and provide justice. She also demanded exemplary punishment for the accused.
Meanwhile, the Khanpur City police station has registered a case against the culprits and started an investigation. The police said that no arrests had been made so far. However, efforts were under way to nab the criminals.
