5 pairs that would make the best on-screen couples

Here's a lowdown of five most awaited duos to grace the silver screen

There are some classic reel life couples that we can never get tired of. The yesteryear pairings of Marina Khan and Behroz Sabzwari, Asif Raza Mir and Shahnaz Sheikh, and Saba Hamid and Waseem Abbas never failed to impress us with their sizzling on-screen chemistry. These star jodis always left us wanting to see them share screen space over and over again.

While these veterans will be our forever favourites, the relatively newer crop of actors also has a few reel life couples which would execute brilliance if they starred together - case in point: Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan in Humsafar, Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat in Dillagi, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and last but definitely not the least, Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir in Yakeen Ka Safar.

But there are few pairings that we long to see together in a project. Here's a lowdown of the five most awaited duos to grace the silver screen.

1. Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat:



While we totally root for Mehwish and Humayun's on-screen pairing, we really hope to see Fawad working with the Load Wedding star. With their ability to excel at whatever role they've been offered, we feel they might work extremely well together if given an opportunity. There couldn't be a better comeback!

2. Mahira Khan, Fahad Mustafa:



It all started when the Raees star expressed her wish to work with Fahad in one of the interviews. This garnered a lot of attention. “I have never worked with Fahad Mustafa,” Mahira told BBC Urdu.

“I really want to work with him but there just wasn’t any time. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of projects the two of us have been offered together but the timing was never right.”

We're keeping our fingers crossed!

3. Adnan Siddiqui, Sanam Baloch:



The Mom actor is one of our favourites. He looks great with everyone he's ever been paired with. There are no two ways about it! But, we strongly feel that Sanam Baloch should've starred with Adnan by now. Can you imagine the amount of star power in one project?

4. Saba Qamar, Hamza Ali Abbasi:



After Baaghi and Hindi Medium, Saba has certainly made her mark in the industry. While Hamza has taken a hiatus after the super hit drama Mann Mayal, we think a project with the Maat star might just take the cake.

5. Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir:



Yes, we know there can be no better fit for Ahad than Sajal Aly but hear us out. We have certain confidence in Ahad and Mawra to completely blow the audience away, now that they're starring in the upcoming periodic drama Aangan together.

While it's evident from the few glimpses of the show that Sajal will again play the love interest of the Parwaaz Hai Junoon star, we would like to see Mawra coupled with him in some other serial. And honestly, what a gorgeous couple they'd make!
