The government on Thursday appointed Allah Dino Khawaja as inspector-general of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP).

The notification was issued by the Establishment Division, appointing Khawaja with immediate effect.

In August 2017, Khawaja inaugurated the public complaint helpline 9110 in Sindh with an aim to address the complaints of the citizens.

While addressing a press conference at Central Police Office (CPO), Khawaja said the helpline initiates an integrated system at the law enforcement agency to speedily address public complaints.
