Nailed: Two held for peddling drugs on campuses

SSP asks citizens to inform police social media cell regarding such activities

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in supplying drugs in educational institutions of Islamabad and recovered narcotics from them, a police spokesman said.

He said police seized 1kg of hashish from Quaid Ali Shah, an employee of thd physics department of the Quaid-i-Azam University. Another suspect, identified as Haroon Masih, was caught with 300 grammes of heroin.

The duo was found supplying narcotics in QAU and educational institutions in the Sector G-6 and near Zero Point.

SSP Islamabad Amin Bukhari has appealed to citizens to inform Islamabad police’s social media cell in case of any such activities around them. He said the name of the informer would be kept secret.
