Two soldiers martyred in security operation

Two soldiers were martyred on Thursday as security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Mangochar area of Kalat district, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Security forces killed four terrorists during the security operation and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition. Two soldiers were also injured in the exchange of fire.

Six security personnel martyred in Awaran rocket attack

On September 13, three soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in North Waziristan.

“Security forces launched an IBO in North Waziristan against terrorists involved in an attack on security forces on 12 September as well as an ambush on security forces convoy during December 2017, which resulted in the martyrdom of Lieutenant Moeed,” announced the army's media wing.

Four terrorists killed during Balochistan sanitisation operations

On September 9, one soldier embraced martyrdom while four terrorists were killed in a security operation in Jhao near Awaran, Balochistan. According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an IBO in the southwestern province against Baluch Liberation Front (BLF) militants and recovered cache of arms and ammunition.
