Actor-siblings Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor are set to team up on screen for the first time. No, it’s not for a movie, they will be appearing together on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee with Karan, which is returning for its sixth season, reported Hindustan Times.

The duo is scheduled to shoot the episode in the coming week and will reportedly be one of the first guests on the celebrity talk show.

Indian Bollywood film producer and director Boney Kapoor (C) poses for a picture with his daughters Janhvi Kapoor (L), Anshula Kapoor (2L) and Khushi Kapoor (R) and son Arjun Kapoor (2L) during the wedding reception of actress Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja in Mumbai. (AFP)

A source from the sets says that Karan recently approached them with the idea of featuring on the show together and they loved it. “It’s going to be a special episode as it marks their first joint appearance, in which they open up about their relationship,” adds the source.

Janhvi made her acting debut with Karan’s production, Dhadak, which was directed by Shashank Khaitan, in July.

She’s now prepping to work with him in two other films, his directorial Takht and the biopic of Gunjan Saxena, one of India’s first female combat aviators who was posted in Kargil during the 1999 war, which he is producing.

The team is tight-lipped about whether the rest of their family, sisters Khushi and Anshula, or their father, Boney, will appear in the episode too.
