Compiled from The Indian Express, here are five kinds of shoes every girl should own.
1. Sneakers

This is probably the most obvious one. Sneakers are not only comfortable but also stylish, giving an edgy touch to your outfit, whatever it may be. They go with nearly everything; jeans, skirts, dresses - you name it!
2. Loafers

This type of shoe is usually the one that's neglected (for lack of a better word). Nonetheless, we are currently witnessing the rise of the loafer. Whether its the streets or the runway, we're sure you would have spotted a pair or two in the recent past. This menswear-inspired shoe has replaced the ballet flat as the essential run-around footwear.
3. Nude heels

Nude heels have the ability of quickly becoming your go-to pair while adding that classy touch. From a formal meeting to a cocktail party - it can cater to (nearly) all your events.
4. Wedges

Not good with heels? No problem! Pick up a pair of wedges and you are good to go. These types of shoes are very versatile and can be dressed up or down.
5. Boots

There's an array of boots out there: Chelsea, thigh-high, peep-toe, stiletto... the list goes on and on. With so much variety and endless possibilities, there's no reason not to have a a pair or two in your closet.
