Olomopolo began its domestic 2018 tour for the Kanwal Khoosat directorial from Karachi on August 31, 2018, giving a houseful performance there. It was followed by amazing shows in Multan on September 7, 2018 and Faisalabad on September 9, 2018.

Read by Sania Saeed and Tajdar Zaidi, the letters transport the audience to a time when one had to wait a long time for incoming messages from their beloved and most cherished. It was a time when they would hide from unwanted gazes and reading such letters would fill their hearts’ desires.

They are the letters of love, letters of longing, letters of pride and of laughter. Backing them up musically are Wajih Nizami on the sitaar, Shahdab Younis on the guitar and Irfan Khan on the tabla.

The play is an interdisciplinary cultural and social enterprise pivoted around the design, production, promotion, advocacy and training of performing arts and visual media.

Likhay Jo Khatt Tujhay will be performed in Lahore on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Alhamra Arts Council at 7.30pm and in Peshawar on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Nishtar Hall at 7:30pm.
