Money laundering case: SHC issues notices to FIA, others

The plaintiff’s lawyer observed that FIA should be barred from ‘harassing’ the client

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC), on request of former president Asif Ali Zardari’s close aide Anwar Majeed’s plea against the Federal Investigation Agency, issued notices to FIA and others in a money laundering case on Monday.

The plaintiff’s lawyer observed that FIA should be barred from ‘harassing’ the client and details of cases should be told.

Issuing notices to the FIA and others, the SHC also summoned investigation officer Najaf Mirza on the next hearing on October 16.
