While the Jodhpur court convicted Salman for killing two black bucks, the rest were acquitted due to a lack of evidence. But now, the Rajasthani government has appealed to the High Court against their acquittal, reported DNA India.
The incident occurred in a village near Jodhpur, where the actors were filming. According to the prosecution, the cast was present in the car as Salman was on the driver's seat. The Dabangg star was sentenced to five years imprisonment and a fine of INR 10,000. After spending two nights in jail, he was granted bail.
The High Court has not made a statement on the appeal yet.
