Four of a family killed in Orakzai roof collapse

Miraculously, one girl child survives in the incident

Four people were killed and one is critically injured as their house's roof collapsed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Orakzai district on Sunday, Express News reported .

A couple along with their two children died in the incident. Miraculously,  one of their child survived after sustaining serious injuries as her condition is said to be critical.

According to authorities, the roof caved in owing to heavy rainfall. One of the deceased children was four-year-old while the other just a two-month-old.

Four students injured as school's roof collapses

Soon after the the incident, residents rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies and injured child from under the rubble.

On August 31, four students aged four to nine years sustained head and leg injuries as the roof plaster of a primary school in Tando Muhammad Khan district collapsed. The incident happened in Government Primary Model Girls Community School in Raju Nizamani area.

The headteacher Zubaida told local media that the plaster collapsed during recess time. A nursery student Shahzad Jamali, two second grade students Eman Jamali and Urooj Jamali and a class five student Uzma Jamali were injured. Urooj and Shahzad are siblings.
