Cricket: Falcons clinch T20 tournament

Uni-foam Falcons clinched the T20 Pentangular Women Cricket Tournament as they defeated Shezan Eaglets by 20 runs in the final. Falcons scored 137 off their quota with Batool Fatima being their highest scorer (31). Illmas Akram was the highest wicket-taker for the winners, with figures of two for 18. In reply, the Eaglets could only manage a total of 117 for five in the allotted overs. Nazia contributed 45 off 52 deliveries while Naila Nazir –  also the player of the match – was their highest wicket-taker with figures of two for 17. The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs50,000.
