Hassani says provincial govt taking steps to maintain law and order

Balochistan Minister for Finance Muhammad Arif Muhammad Hassani on Thursday said peace was essential for development of the country.

He said the provincial government was taking practical steps to maintain peace across the province because a peaceful environment was necessary for development of any society, a press release said.
He said, “It is my responsibility to maintain peace in Chagai district for the betterment of the people.”

He urged the administration to take indiscriminate action against anti-social elements and criminals in Chagai district so people and traders could run their businesses in a peaceful environment.
Meanwhile, the minister presided over a meeting at the Finance Department to review different sectors. Secretary Finance Qamar Masood, Additional Secretary Budget Lal Jan Jaffar, Additional Secretary Resources Rashid Razaq, Additional Secretary Development Nadeem Akhtar Sumalani, Additional Secretary Monitoring Ghulam Mustafa and Director General Treasury Saeed Umrani attended the meeting.

BAP chief vows peace, prosperity in province

The minister said strict measures would be taken to end corruption in all departments of the province in order to ensure advancements of the institutions.

He said finance departments would issue funds to departments for their betterment.
